Renewal of the RSF grant

We share the happy news! Congratulations to the grant leader - Andrey Buglak with the extension of the RSF grant "Development and characterization of biosensor systems based on metal nanoclusters for biomarker detection and phototherapy of vitiligo". We wish fruitful work, scientific achievements and high-quality publications!

Successful defense of master's students

All of us are happy to share the wonderful news! Varya and Elina brilliantly defended their theses! They have demonstrated not only their profound knowledge and skills, but also great diligence and hard work, which deserves sincere congratulations. May every door they open lead to new exciting opportunities and achievements. Way to go, Varya and Elina, and may your diploma journey be the beginning of an even brighter future! Congratulations on your successful defense!

Awarding of a scientific degree!

We congratulate our colleagueTomash Sych on the successful defense of his PhD thesis ("Luminescent clusters of noble metals stabilized by protein matrices: photophysical and structural properties, practical applications") and awarding him the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. How talented and dedicated he is, is confirmed by the awarding of such an important title. We are proud of his achievement and wish him many successes in his future scientific career. We wish him new discoveries and impressive scientific results!

Winning the competition from the Academic Council of the Faculty of Physics.

We congratulate our colleagues - the winners of the competition of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Physics for scientific works for young scientists.
The first prize was awarded to Andrey Buglak and Tomash Sych for the series of works "Experimental and theoretical study of luminescent silver clusters as nanosensors for biomolecule detection".

Dear friend! If you have come to this page, you are probably interested in physics, biology, chemistry, and medicine. If you have your hands from the right place, or, in extreme cases, you can think - you are here. We can do both experiment and theory. Even if the above told you suddenly does not apply, it doesn’t matter - we will teach. So you come to us anyway.

We are engaged in biophotonics, an interdisciplinary branch of photonics. t our university, research in this area began in the 60s of the last century by VL Rapoport, a student of A. N. Terenin, at the Department of Biomolecular and Photonic Physics. Research in our laboratory is at the intersection of physics, chemistry, medicine and biology and is associated with photoprocesses involving biomolecules. The main areas of research are carried out in several main fundamental and applied areas:
